My All-Time Football Team

1st Team

Offense

Quarterback- Joe Montana

Running Back- Walter Payton

Running Back- Jim Brown

Wide Receiver- Jerry Rice

Wide Receiver- Steve Largent

Tight End- Jay Novacek

Left Tackle- Richmond Webb

Left Guard- Nate Newton

Center- Dermonti Dawson

Right Guard- Larry Allen

Right Tackle- Erik Williams

Defense

Cornerback- Deion Sanders- No one can even come close to his coverage skills, and yes he can tackle. Note that less than halfway through this season and he has already caused two fumbles in key situations.

Cornerback- Dick "Night Train" Lane- Awesome coverage, and the hardest hitting cornerback ever

Safety- Ronnie Lott

Safety- Darren Woodson

Middle Linebacker- Dick Butkus- The NFL's toughest player ever. Great intimidator and a lot of heart to go along with great skills.

Outside Linebacker- Lawrence Taylor

Outside Linebacker- Derrick Thomas

Defensive End- Bubba Smith

Defensive End- Reggie White

Defensive Tackle-

Defensive Tackle-

Special Team

Kicker- Morten Anderson

Punter- Sammy Baugh

Kick Returner/Punt Returner- Gayle Sayers- One of the most explosive players ever.

2nd Team

Offense

Quaterback- Troy Aikman- Maybe even better than Joe in the big games.

Running Back- O.J. Simpson

Running Back- Barry Sanders

Wide Receiver- Michael Irvin- Does better against the great cornerbacks than even Jerry Rice.

Wide Receiver- Lynn Swann- Without him, Terry Bradshaw was nothing. Watch the footage and you will see Lynn's feet next to the defenders feet everytime, because he had to jump for every ball. Luckily for the Steelers, he did this good.

Tight End- Mike Ditka- One mean SOB

Left Tackle-

Left Guard-

Center-

Right Guard-

Right Tackle-

Defense

Cornerback- Rod Woodson

Cornerback-

Safety- Steve Atwater

Safety

Middle Linebacker- Junior Seau- One of the few defensive players that can change the game by himself. He always steps up.

Outside Linebacker-

Outside Linebacker

Defensive End- Deacon Jones

Defensive End-

Defensive Tackle- Leon Lett- The most dominant defensive player right now. He made mistakes in the past, but those mistakes only made him stronger.

Defensive Tackle-

Special Teams

Kicker- Pete Stoyonavich

Punter- Randall Cunningham- Would be a threat at all times, because of his running skills and quarterback skills. He did have a 91 punt on a third down play.

Kick Returner/Punt Returner- Deion Sanders- Even more dangerous than Sayers, but we need Deion on defense.

On the Bench

Johnny Unitus- Maybe, the greatest quarterback of all time

Tony Dorsett- Would have been the All-time leading rusher if Landry had let him run more.

Bo Jackson- Without injuries, he could be a great one.

Alvin Harper- Even though he is not a great first target. He is one of the best 2nd receivers of All-Time, and one of the greats at catching the long ball. He would definitely be in if we needed a hail mary play.

Gregg Lloyd- Toughest Player playing right now.

Marion Motley- If I started Fullbacks on this team, he would start

Darryl Johnston- Great Blocking back.  Not a threat though.  2nd fullback if we need a strong blocker.

Kenneth Gant and Steve Tasker- Great special teams players. Kenneth Gant can fire the crowd up like no other.
